PUBG Mobile has crossed the 400 million downloads mark, with 50 million of those downloads translating to daily active users, and developer Tencent has decided to celebrate with a new deathmatch mode.
PUBG Mobile players can try out the new 4-v-4 mode in update 0.13.0, released Tuesday. Deathmatch is available in both first- and third-person perspective. Players spawn into a timed match in which the team with the most kills at the end wins.
The new mode gives players the chance to take advantage of the newly added ability to set different controls for first-person and third-person.
Also included in the update are an upgraded 3rd party app detection system, an MVP showcase at the close of each map, and various Godzilla-related themes to tie in with the promotional partnership between PUBG Mobile and "Godzilla: King of the Monsters."
