Snad Mod 1.12.2/1.11.2 (Better Than Vanilla Sand)

Snad Mod 1.12.2/1.11.2 adds a block known as “Snad” which unlike it’s counterpart “Sand” will increase the growth rate for sugarcane, cacti and any other plantable crop.

To craft a block of Snad you merely need to put two sand together in your inventory (or any form of crafting) and suddenly you’ll have an amazingly awesome block of Snad.

How to install:

1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
   • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
   • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
