Finn

Meet one of The Force Awaken’s lead characters, FN-2187 (or Finn, as he is newly called). This ex-Stormtrooper is out to escape what he was trained to do by the First Order. This Minecraft character screams adventure and if you’re ready to be a hero, this is the skin for you. Rey

Rey is a strong survivor, strengthened by a life of hard work and scavenging on Jakku. She was living her normal life until one fateful day changed everything. This skin’s great design focuses on Rey’s scavenging goggles, rather than showing her face, but is still a wonderful testament to the new movie. This skin was created by Aximili on the Planet #Minecraft website and can be downloaded here.

Han Solo and Chewbacca

Our familiar and favorite heroes, captain and co-pilot of the legendary ship, the Millennium Falcon, Han Solo and Chewbacca. These various skins are beautifully crafted, showing the recent looks of the characters we all know and love. While Chewy doesn’t look too different, Han Solo is looking a little older now as the years have passed (but he can still kick some major butt!). Kylo Ren

Currently, one of the most feared names in the entire galaxy. Dark with the Force, Kylo Ren leads the First Order, seeking to destroy the New Republic, and to stop any new Jedi from stepping up. This Minecraft skin captures Kylo Ren extremely well, given the circumstances that it’s pixelated. This skin was created by Planet Minecraft’s Aximili and can be downloaded here.

Captain Phasma

Aximili is at it again with another great Minecraft representation of more Star Wars characters. Meet Captain Phasma, leader of the First Order’s stormtroopers. She is strong and willing to do what she must to get the job done at all costs. This skin’s metallic design differentiates itself against the pure white stormtroopers with the amazingly done shading. First Order Stormtrooper

Our last skin for this showcase is the stormtrooper skin. These stormtroopers have been trained from birth to be the absolute best fighters in the entire galaxy. These First Order Stormtroopers are much stronger than the Imperials before them and will sacrifice their life in the battlefield to show their loyalty to the order. This stormtrooper was created by Aximili (once again) and the skin can be found on Planet Minecraft.  

In Conclusion

These skins were created with quality in mind and their creators have clearly shown it. With limited pixels to use to get across what you’re looking at, it’s extremely difficult to do a great job (which these creators have definitely done). Many skins are out and about for this new release of Star Wars, so if none of these skins are what you are currently looking for, keep an eye out for more in the near future being released frequently by a community more massive than ever.
